A drumming gig is an excellent way to start a career, says drummer and vocalist, Roland Electronic, and it can also give you a chance to make a name for yourself in the dance world.
“You have to start somewhere and I’m a little bit more of a drummers guy than a vocalist.
I’m really interested in the sound of a beat and the rhythm.
When you are trying to write a song for a gig, I think you need to have a good rhythm and it needs to be good,” he says.
“If you have a drumming background, you are probably more likely to be the one to work on the beats.
It’s a really good way to get started, especially if you don’t have a lot of experience.”
If you’ve got a bit of an ear for drumming, Roeland is a good place to start.
“I like to work with a lot more people, I like to play with a different rhythm,” he adds.
“It’s nice to have the freedom to just have the beats and go from there.”
He has two drum sets at his house in Melbourne, one for him and one for a group of friends.
“The drummer is the one that you need, you need a good set up, a good drum set.
It should be fun,” he explains.

People get into it and then they’re out.”

“He’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met,” she says.
“He’s a great drummer and I love playing drums.
I think that he’s a true friend.”
It’s an area where Roiland has been working for years.
“Working with a band has been one of my main life interests ever since I was in a band,” he recalls.
“When I was younger, I was the only drummer around and now I can’t get into any other music.
I have this dream where I’m going to be one of those drummers.
Roiland admits that he was in and out of bands at different times but he’s never stopped playing music and says he has no regrets about it. “
My job has always been to try to play my own music and I’ve done it for the last 20 years.”

He says he doesn’t think it’s a big deal to be interested in drumming.
“We’re all drummers now, that’s for sure,” he tells us.
“So I’m not too bothered by that.
I just enjoy it.”
He’s also a big proponent of the idea of having an open mind.
“A lot of the things I’ve written have been influenced by other people, but it’s my own.” “
In the past I’ve been a bit cagey about my musical influences, so if someone comes along and brings something new that I like, I’ll be open about it and I’ll try to incorporate that into my songs,” he laughs.

If he was going to start playing in a rock band, he says he would probably do so as an electronic drummer.
“Electronic drumming is a new thing to me.
It took me a while to get used to it.
I don’t really like electronic music.
It can be a bit too much for me, but I have a great time playing it,” he enthuses.
“Some people like it, but a lot don’t and I like it.
The key to drumming success, he adds, is “the ability to work well with a wider range of people”. “
Once you start playing the instrument, you have to know how to control it,” Roiland says.
The key to drumming success, he adds, is “the ability to work well with a wider range of people”.
“If people want to learn to play something new, you can do it.
You can learn from somebody who has done it before, or from someone who has been there before,” he continues.
“But if you can’t make friends with people, then you can just keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll eventually learn something.
You’ll become a better musician.”
The musician says that drumming helps him get over his fears of being a musician.
“For me, being a drum player is very difficult,” he admits.
“Because I don, I have to keep my mind in the right place at the right time.
But it’s really good to have that in me.
I do get nervous when I’m working, but then I just kind of relax and go on with my life.”
He explains that it helps him stay focussed on the music and he feels like
