Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews and running back Josh Huff will practice on Wednesday, according to team sources.
Matthews has been out since Week 4 with a knee injury and has not practiced since Week 7 with a hamstring injury.
Huff, a rookie who missed the first two games of the season because of a foot injury, is questionable for the Eagles’ Week 7 opener against the Detroit Lions.
The Eagles practiced Wednesday and Thursday with two players limited to limited practice time.
Both players participated in a full practice on Thursday, but both were limited to a limited role.
They did not participate in any drills with a coach or personnel coach on the field.
The practice was the first for Matthews and Huff since they were both acquired via trade with the New York Giants in the offseason.
Matthews is the first Eagles wideout to practice this week.
The team has not had any tight ends available for practice, which is also a big reason why the team will be keeping their roster spots open until the season opener.
